THE STAR WARS GEEK CODE v 0.1

Obviously based on the "real" Geek Code.  This is just a simple little code 
you can put together to let others know exactly how much of a Star Wars geek 
you are, and perhaps more importantly, exactly *what kind* of a Star Wars geek 
you are.

c - Have you ever dressed up as a Star Wars character?
c+++ : I wear my Jedi robes every day
c++  : I own a professionally-made costume/armor/etc.
c+   : I have put together a costume for Star Wars events, conventions, etc.
c    : Only on Halloween or for a costume party, as an adult
c-   : Only on Halloween or for a costume party, as a child
c--  : Never dressed up as a character

z - The Timothy Zahn trilogy ("Heir To The Empire", "Dark Force Rising", and 
"The Last Command") introduced many fans to the world of the post-ROTJ Star Wars
universe, and as such it is a starting point into deeper fandom.  Reading these
books is essential for the Padawan Star Wars Geek.
z++  : I read the TZ trilogy at least once a year
z+   : I own the trilogy and have read it several times 
z    : I borrowed it from a friend and read it
z-   : I have never read the trilogy, but I am familiar with Thrawn and the storyline
z--  : Never heard of it

V - Ownership of the original trilogy, pre-DVD release.  There were the 
"original" VHS tapes, the THX tapes, and the Special Edition tapes, as well as 
the rare and coveted Laserdisc edition.
V+++ : I've got the Laserdiscs, bow down before me!
V++  : I've got two or more VHS trilogies.
V+   : I own one VHS trilogy.
V    : My parents/siblings/significant other owns them.
V-   : I do not own a VHS set of the original trilogy.

S - Evaluation of members of the opposite sex based on whether they like Star 
Wars.
S+++ : Our marriage vows will be the Jedi Code
S++  : If s/he can't quote Yoda, s/he's out the door.
S+   : I will judge a date based on whether s/he likes Star Wars.
S    : I don't judge people based on whether they like Star Wars.
S-   : I want a significant other who's not familiar with Star Wars.
S--  : Talking about Star Wars turns me off.

PM - How fanatical you were to see Episode I, The Phantom Menace
PM+++: I waited in line for more than a day to see Episode I
PM++ : I waited in line for more than two hours to see Episode I
PM+  : I saw Episode I on the day it released
PM   : I saw Episode I in the first week it was released
PM-- : I didn't see Episode I in the theaters
PM---: I haven't seen Episode I

AC - How fanatical you were to see Episode II, Attack of the Clones
AC+++: I waited in line for more than a day to see Episode II
AC++ : I waited in line for more than two hours to see Episode II
AC+  : I saw Episode II on the day it released
AC   : I saw Episode II in the first week it was released
AC-- : I didn't see Episode II in the theaters
AC---: I haven't seen Episode II

RS - How fanatical you were to see Episode III, Revenge of the Sith (this code 
will change as time passes after the release of Episode III)
RS+++: I waited in line for more than a day to see Episode III
RS++ : I waited in line for more than two hours to see Episode III
RS+  : I saw Episode III on the day it released
RS   : I saw Episode III in the first week it was released
RS-  : I haven't seen Episode III

G - Have you played Star Wars video games?
G+++: I can state the armament and relative speed of every class of starfighter
G++ : I know what the crystals in a lightsaber can do
G+  : I have blown up the Death Star
G   : Ran around on Hoth, killed a few Probe Droids
G-  : I have never played a Star Wars video game

B - How many serious Star Wars books (i.e. not children's books) do you own?
B+++ : 10+
B++  : 5+
B+   : 3 or 4

C - Collectibles.  Oh boy.
C+++ : I have numerous collectibles, 3 of each: one to play with, one in the 
	original box to sell, one in the original box to keep forever
C++  : I have a large collection, some in boxes, some not.
C+   : I have purchased Star Wars items for the purpose of collecting them (as 
	opposed to playing with them)
C    : I have a few toys and the like.
C--  : I don't have any Star Wars collectibles, toys, or other memorabilia.

FL, FD - Force Orientation
FL++ : A true Jedi would not brag about his righteousness
FL+  : A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack
FL   : I stand on the side of Light and Justice
FD   : That light side stuff is for wusses
FD+  : If only you knew the power of the Dark Side
FD++ : *smoldering gaze* *crushes throat*
F--  : Hokey religons and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at 
	your side
